Flint I remember when this little piece of internet history arrived in 2004. Downloaded the low quality mp3 that was on offer, and it's since managed to find its way to every single music library and portable player I've ever had across the years. Undeniably fun and ingeniusly catchy. The 'main' version packs more of an oomph but the old, scruffy version will always be my fave. Oh and the b-sides are good too! Favorite track: Hey Hey 16K (original single version).

He needed reasons to keep living She needed someone she could love He needed something to believe in She lived on the floor above He listened to the Sunday Service Pumping down through the plasterboard She came to know his taste in music And recognised the way he snored All of a sudden nothing happened Out of the blue they didn't meet He never came to borrow coffee She never dropped her shopping round his feet Theirs could have been the perfect love song What a shame they never met He got run over by a milk float She went to live in Somerset

There's someone we think that you should meet She'll be right up your street She's desperate just like you We'll see what we can do She hasn't really got a life But she's an old friend of the wife We thought you'd approve We'll see what we can do Two odd buttons in a kitchen drawer Two sore losers in a no-score draw Two old batteries that have no use Me and you We'll see what we can do Me and you We'll see what we can do We are the anti-socials We are the non-league hopefuls We are when we are me and you We'll see what we can do

about

10 years ago, on May 4 2004, Mr Rob Manuel of B3TA put out a flash animated video for our song "Hey Hey 16K". Everything then proceeded to go KRAZY - by the end of a week it had been seen two million people, and spent several days in the top 10 most viewed sites on the entire internet. This was all before YouTube or iTunes even existed!

The song itself was first released in 1999 on the world's first ever* internet-only single, so to celebrate the anniversary of the video I thought I'd reissue it here, with both the original b-sides and two extra tracks. This is the first time it's ever actually been available to buy!

* I have stuck to this story for 15 years and am certainly not going to change it now.
